This prelude, taken from the eight short preludes and fugues, was performed by Melissa, at the recytel at St. Martin's Church, Worcester.
This is a performance of the Andante Moderato in C# minor from Pieces breves, Op. 84 No. 5. It was performed by a colleague of mine, Richard H.
A performance by Mellisa, of the Andante from Sonaata 15 in C. The first movement eventually became so famous, it eventually was made the theme for Granny in the Luny Tunes cartoon series.
This is a performance of the prelude and fugue in E Minor, taken from the eight short preludes and fugues. The fugue has been omitted from this recording due to a request from the performer, Richard H.
this piece, when it was originally written, was intended to be a pedal exercise for Bach's students playing the organ. It features no work for the hands, merely the feet. I performed this exercise at the 20th of June recytel.
the WTC, is highly recognised among pianists. this is a recording of Melissa, playing the prelude in G from the WTC.
The Bells of Moscow is a highly complex prelude in C Sharp Minor, written by Rachmaninov. The opening motif represents the Bells of Moscow. This recording is of my performance of this piece on 20th June 2010.
The Nocturn in C, is a highly recognised piece among musicians, as it was, for a number of years, a listed piece for Grade 8 piano examinations, on the Associated Board. This recording is of Richard H performing the nocturn, on the 20th of June 2010.
This was the last performance at the recytel on June 20th. I performed the G Major Prelude, BWV541. This is an exceptionally difficult piece, sometimes used in auditions for music schools such as the RNCM, Royal National College of Music.
A performance by my other half and I, Melissa, of the famous Berceuse from Fauré's Dolly Suite. Before we began our performance, we reminded the older generation in the audience that this piece was played on "Listen With Mother" on the old Home Service.
